Thank you for visiting Outdoor Norway! We cannot wait to create unforgettable experiences for you and your family, whether that be out on the trails, in the rivers and fjords, or across the mountains.
You can be assured that we are closely following all government guidelines related to social distancing, sanitizing and group restrictions, in order to maximize the health and safety of our guests. We will continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation throughout the fall and winter, and will share updates periodically on this page.
TEMPORARY CANCELLATION POLICY UPDATE
In order to minimize your stress and anxiety related to the uncertainties of Covid-19, we have adopted a new temporary “flexi-cancellation policy” for those situated outside of Norway. Until further notice, the policy is as follows:
- For all half day and full-day tours booked for September and October, we will offer a full refund for cancellations made up to 4 days before the day of the tour.
- For all full-day backcountry tours booked for the winter season (February – April), we will offer a full refund for cancellations made up to 4 days before the day of the tour.
- For all multi-day ski tours booked for the winter season (February – April), we will offer a full refund for cancellations made up to 15 days before the day of the tour.
- In the case of a sudden border closing (no pre-released warning or statement from the Norwegian Government), we will offer a full refund without question, or a no-fee rebooking option.
Our goal is to continue to provide amazing experiences to our guests while keeping us all safe. Should you have any additional questions as to how our operational procedures have changed regarding Covid-19 regulations, please write us at [email protected]. To review our standard cancellation policy, please see here.
Norway, with a fairly low population density and strict community regulations, recovered well from the first initial outbreaks of Covid-19. However, to keep Norway’s communities safe, the government has placed restrictions on foreigners who plan to travel to Norway, for leisure purposes or otherwise. These are subject to change on short notice, so we ask you to kindly stay up to date on the latest news on our national health website, found here. We would not recommend travelling without proper travel insurance.
We thank you for your kind patience and understanding. We wish you all to stay safe, stay well, and stay connected.
